Located in the historic Smith Bros’ Hardware building, Brick & Mortar gives you a great combination of an industrial feel, with a garden area, and then with great views of downtown Columbus.
Brick & Mortar is a great space because it has an adjoining courtyard, giving you and your guests both indoor and outdoor space, While Brick & Mortar can hold about 150 guests inside, you almost double or TRIPLE that amount of space when you add in the terrace and courtyard!
Another nice thing about this venue is that it gives your guest the choice between spending time inside dancing the night away, or enjoying the cool summer breeze on the terrace.
Here’s the bottom line: this venue has a very unique quality that makes the perfect backdrop for your vision of a simple, elegant wedding with an industrial feel. The space is beautiful, with a lot of old world charm that really comes out that night with the lighting they use.

If you love the urban look and feel, you should like that you can do both the ceremony and reception all in one place.
If you have your ceremony outside you can have it in the courtyard. Even though its just outside of downtown Columbus, it will feel very private as it has both an urban and green feel.
Your guests can enjoy a pre-ceremony space of the terrace. You can have drinks for them while they enjoy the city views. If you chose 'The Venue' as our ceremony location, it will be outside in the adjoining courtyard. It is in between two buildings but there is a surprising amount of green space for a unique combination of industrial AND greenery.
This has a wonderful backdrop of the Columbus skyline and is nicely shaded in the evening. They string these gorgeous lights across the garden that give the space a very romantic feel at night.

If you want an industrial look then perhaps get pictures in front of the warehouse. If enjoying the outdoor are more your style, you can grab some shots in front of the city skyline!

You can't beat the rustic look or the city-views. This place is it is already so beautiful so minimal decorations needed. You can dress it up, dress it down or do nothing at all and it will look gorgeous whatever you decide. The venue was absolutely beautiful with all the lights on. There is a covered outside area too get some air/chat with guests while the party raves inside.
This place is really popular from spring until mid Fall because of the terrace and courtyard additions.
You can use the outside terrace even later in the year than you might expect. They can supply a heated tent, but it is an extra costs. But you can also use the tent for your ceremony if you’d like.
