They do have a lovely lakeside ceremony spot. But with I-270 right there, it can be very noisy, especially for since ceremonies tend to be quieter events. You should have microphones to make your vows heard. Most DJs can supply this for you, but we are not sure if the one that is supplied by the venue can.
The venue does supply a lot of the needed items for your special day. So it makes it easy to ‘check off multiple boxes’ like your wedding cake and entertainment. While this does tend to be a bit ‘cookie cutter’ it does make it easy. If you have a vendor that you really want to bring into this venue you are allowed to do with a very small credit applied to your balance.
The fireplace is the focal point of the room. It looks great if you add some decor lighting to it.

The Strongwater Event Space resides between three rooms of the former EBCO manufacturing floor just outside of downtown Columbus.
This industrial venue has a ton of character found around every corner. You get lots of exposed brick and large windows. You have natural light coming in from the original sawtooth windows. There is even an open-air courtyard that is perfect for your ceremony.
There are multiple spaces that allow for the events of the day to flow with ease, and the industrial vibe really creates a unique experience for you and your guests.

The outside ceremony area is very unique and you will get some incredibe pictures. You can also have a ‘pre ceremony cocktail hour’ in the bar area for your guests to enjoy. Its advisable to have microphones so that you ceremony vows can be heard. While your officiant might be able to be heard from the back, the couples usually aren’t heard.
You can choose from indoor and outdoor space – or a bit of both, depending on the size of the wedding.
All of your food and beverage needs are built in with the restaurant on-site with an executive chef.
Strongwater looks really beautiful at night - the string lights look amazing and you might consider using lots of candlelight in your decor for a very urban yet romantic type of vibe.
There's also plenty of parking nearby. There are also plenty of hotels nearby, including the Crowne Plaza Downtown and the DoubleTree Suites Columbus Downtown which makes it really convenient for your guests.
