Important Information About At The Vue For Your Reception

The biggest plus for this venue is that they allow you to bring in your own alcohol. This can of course save you quite a bit of money.

There is also a beautiful bridal suite loft upstairs with couches which is really nice for the bridesmaids to hang out at with a vanity and full length mirror. This is available to the wedding party 2 hours before the guests arrive and its a real bonus.

This venue is in close proximity to trendy hotels and restaurant/bars in the Brewery District which is great for your guests to go and enjoy after your reception.

The Vue is also offer highly customizable with adjustable lighting settings and decor options. For example, you have the option of adding the bistro lights throughout the ceiling which really softens everything in the room.

The Vault Wedding Receptions

Built to house Columbia Building & Loans Bank in 1912, The Vault is an impressive building that has beautiful architectural grandeur. Original features, including an authentic bank vault, a 100-year-old marble floor, and magnificent chandelier that serves as the room's centerpiece. 

The Vault's historical beauty is apparent today, even when your guests cross the entryway. The grand ballroom which can hold up to 300 guests is adorned with 40-foot ceilings and large window archways. The marble stonework continues up the grand staircase leading to a gorgeous light-filled balcony that overlooks the entire event space.

One of the most unique features of the ballroom is the location of the bar for your guests. Its actually inside the old vault of the bank. Its just off where the dance floor is usually set up which makes it a great location.

Another nice feature is the stairway leading up to the balcony. This staircase makes for very fun and dramatic introductions of the wedding party.

Located in the historic Smith Bros’ Hardware building, Brick & Mortar gives you a great combination of an industrial feel, with a garden area, and then with great views of downtown Columbus.

If you love the urban look and feel, you should like that you can do both the ceremony and reception all in one place.

If you have your ceremony outside you can have it in the courtyard. Even though its just outside of downtown Columbus, it will feel very private as it has both an urban and green feel.

Your guests can enjoy a pre-ceremony space of the terrace. You can have drinks for them while they enjoy the city views. If you chose 'The Venue' as our ceremony location, it will be outside in the adjoining courtyard. It is in between two buildings but there is a surprising amount of green space for a unique combination of industrial AND greenery.

This has a wonderful backdrop of the Columbus skyline and is nicely shaded in the evening. They string these gorgeous lights across the garden that give the space a very romantic feel at night.

You can't beat the rustic look or the city-views.  This place is it is already so beautiful so minimal decorations needed. You can dress it up, dress it down or do nothing at all and it will look gorgeous whatever you decide. The venue was absolutely beautiful with all the lights on. There is a covered outside area too get some air/chat with guests while the party raves inside.

This place is really popular from spring until mid Fall because of the terrace and courtyard additions.

You can use the outside terrace even later in the year than you might expect. They can supply a heated tent, but it is an extra costs. But you can also use the tent for your ceremony if you’d like.

The outside ceremony area is very unique and you will get some incredibe pictures. You can also have a ‘pre ceremony cocktail hour’ in the bar area for your guests to enjoy. Its advisable to have microphones so that you ceremony vows can be heard. While your officiant might be able to be heard from the back, the couples usually aren’t heard.
